How YuvalGG will review games and gear
The rules for a YuvalGG review, including how sponsored and affiliate pieces are labeled.

A review on this site has to be usable. It should say who the thing is for, what it does well, and where it fails.
What a review includes
Every review answers three questions:
- Who is this for?
- What did the time with it actually show?
- What would make a different person skip it?
Scores are optional. Those three answers are not. A score without the answers is a thumbnail.
Time spent
A game review says how the game was played: the mode, the platform, and whether the time was enough to see the loop. A gear review says what was tested and what was not. Untested claims stay out.
Sponsored reviews
A sponsored review of Yuval’s own says so at the top. Paid links on those reviews use rel="sponsored". The label is not a footer surprise. Guest posts are not marked as sponsored.
Payment does not remove the three questions. If a sponsor wants a review that hides a failure, the review does not run.
Corrections
If a fact is wrong, the article is updated and the updated date changes. The old claim does not stay up because it was already published.
