GPU compare tool

Pick any two cards and see where they differ. I play on an RTX 5080, and this is the table I wanted when I was comparing cards: VRAM, memory bus, rated power, boost clock and launch price, taken from the manufacturers' pages, with no frame rates I cannot source.

Green marks the better value for VRAM, memory bus, launch price, price per GB and power. Shaded rows differ between the two cards.

What the specs say

Both cards use the Blackwell architecture, so their spec sheets are directly comparable.

RTX 5070 Ti has 4 GB more VRAM (16 vs 12 GB), and RTX 5070 Ti has the wider bus (256-bit vs 192-bit).

RTX 5070 Ti launched at $200 more ($749 vs $549). RTX 5070 Ti is rated 50 W higher (300 vs 250 W).

RTX 5070 leads on a lower launch price and lower power draw. RTX 5070 Ti leads on more VRAM and a wider memory bus.

This compares spec sheets, not frame rates. Speed depends on the game and the resolution, so check benchmarks for the games you play before you buy.

How to read the comparison

Green marks the better value for VRAM, memory bus, launch price, price per GB of VRAM and rated power (lower is better for the last three). Clock speed and release date are shown but never ranked, because a higher clock on one card says little about how it performs against a different design.

The verdict is written from the numbers in the table. It says which card has more memory, which launched for less, and which is rated for more power. It does not pick an overall winner, because that needs benchmarks. Once you have a shortlist, check the PSU wattage calculator for the power supply, and thebottleneck estimator to see whether your CPU will hold the card back.

What is in the tool

37 cards across NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50, 40, 30 and 20, the GTX 1080, AMD Radeon RX 9000, 7000 and 6600, and the Intel Arc B580. All data was checked on Nov 1, 2026. Cards that ship in several memory versions list one version, and the note under the sources says which versions are not included. Laptop chips are not covered.

Common questions

How do I compare two graphics cards?

Pick a card in each box. The tool puts VRAM, memory bus, rated power, boost clock, launch price and release date side by side, highlights what differs, and writes a short verdict from those numbers.

Does the GPU compare tool show FPS or benchmark scores?

No. It only shows published specs. Frame rates depend on the game, the resolution and the settings, and I would rather leave them out than show a number I cannot source. Check benchmarks of your own games before you buy.

Where do the specs come from?

VRAM, memory bus, rated power and boost clock come from the manufacturer's own pages (NVIDIA, AMD and Intel). Launch price and release date come from Wikipedia. Every card lists both sources and the date I checked them, and I did not fill any gap with a guess.

Why is the price the launch price and not today's price?

Street prices move every week and differ by store, so a table of them would be out of date quickly. The launch price shows how each card was positioned on day one. Check current prices before you buy.

Why are some card versions missing?

Some cards ship in several versions with different memory, such as the RTX 5060 Ti in 8 GB and 16 GB. I list one version per card and say which. The versions I left out are named in that card's note.

Which card is better, the one with more VRAM or the higher clock?

Neither number settles it. VRAM matters when a game needs more memory than the card has, and boost clocks only compare fairly between cards of the same design. The tool marks VRAM, bus, price and power as better or worse, and shows clock speed without ranking it.

Can I share a comparison?

Yes. The address updates when you pick cards, so you can copy the page link and send it.
