CS2 to Overwatch sensitivity

Overwatch sensitivity = CS2 sensitivity × 0.022 ÷ 0.0066. At the same DPI that is a multiply by 10/3, about 3.333. CS2 1.00 is Overwatch 3.333. CS2 1.05 is Overwatch 3.50, which is the pair I actually play at 1200 DPI.

Slider 0.1–10, m_yaw 0.022. Yaw 0.022°/count.

Overwatch sensitivity

3.500

Matched cm/360

32.99 cm

Same DPI on both sides. Hipfire only. Overwatch yaw 0.0066°/count.

How this pair converts

new = old × (0.022 ÷ 0.0066). Same DPI. That ratio is exact: 10 ÷ 3.

Both games turn the same amount per mouse count, so the number carries over 1:1.

Overwatch yaw is 0.0066° per count at sensitivity 1.

CS2 has no world FOV slider. Overwatch does (80–103, 16:9 horizontal). Changing FOV after the conversion does not change cm/360.

cm/360 = (360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity × DPI)) × 2.54. The converter keeps that distance equal.

A CS2 2.00 at 800 DPI is Overwatch 6.667. My Overwatch 3.5 at 1200 DPI is the other direction from CS2 1.050.

Common questions

What is the CS2 to Overwatch sensitivity multiplier?

Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by 3.333 at the same DPI. For example, CS2 1.00 equals Overwatch 3.33.

Does hero zoom affect the CS2 to Overwatch conversion?

No, hipfire still matches. Heroes like Widowmaker, Ashe and Ana have a separate zoom sensitivity setting, so convert hipfire first and adjust zoom after.

I use 3.50 in Overwatch at 1200 DPI, which equals 1.05 in CS2. Enter your own CS2 number to get your conversion.
