NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 621.01 WHQL
Source: NVIDIA — GeForce Game Ready Driver For Phantom Blade Zero & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
NVIDIA’s new 621.01 driver is out, and it’s a must if you play on a 360 Hz screen or are jumping into Modern Warfare 4. The driver page lists GeForce Game Ready Driver 621.01 WHQL, released 21 October 2026.
The package is Game Ready for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (full launch 23 October; the driver adds Advanced Shader Delivery, which NVIDIA says lets you skip shader compilation), Phantom Blade Zero (28 October), the Cyberpunk 2077 DLSS 4.5 update (22 October), Crimson Desert Enhanced (29 October), and NBA 2K27.
The same notes list two general display fixes that matter on a high-refresh panel: an occasional black flash on a QHD monitor at 360 Hz, and FPS dropping to 320 on a 360 Hz G-SYNC Pulsar monitor.
If you queue a competitive FPS on a 360 Hz screen, those two bugs are the reason to take this file, not a promise of extra frames. How to update a GPU driver is the install path. What a 360 Hz monitor shows and VRR and G-Sync are the panel side. How to increase FPS and how to cap FPS stay the setting order after the package is in. What DLSS is and NVIDIA Reflex are the in-game switches the same article names for Modern Warfare 4.
I play Overwatch on a 1080p 240 Hz panel. The sources are NVIDIA’s Game Ready article and the 621.01 driver page.
