AMD Adrenalin 26.10.1: FSR 4.1 on RX 6000 and Modern Warfare 4 fix

Source: AMD — AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 Release Notes

AMD’s new driver is the one to grab if you’re on a Radeon card and playing Modern Warfare 4, as covered in how to update a GPU driver. The release notes list AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1, updated 20 October 2026.

FSR 4.1 on older hardware. AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 now supports Radeon RX 6000 Series cards and the Ryzen AI Max 300, Ryzen AI Max 400, Ryzen AI 9 300 and Ryzen AI 9 400 Series processors.

New game support. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered.

Fixed. Stuttering in Modern Warfare 4 on Radeon RX 6000 series and above.

This matters most if you’re on an RX 6000 card: you get the newer upscaler without buying a new GPU, and the stutter fix covers the cards most people are running Modern Warfare 4 on. Stutter shows up in your lows before your average, so what 1% low FPS means is the number to watch after updating. How to increase FPS covers settings order, and what frame generation is explains the other half of the upscaling menu.

The notes also list known issues, including a War Thunder driver timeout on RX 5000 cards (AMD recommends staying on 26.9.1) and Smart Access Memory possibly turning off after install on Windows 10. When rolling back, AMD recommends its Cleanup Utility.
